| In the end, all you're doing is:- 1. Propping up evil regimes that should be allowed to fall naturally until one day blacks actually choose leaders that are better. 2. Enriching these leaders, many of whom are evil and they and their henchmen run away with the money. There are many better things your Govt could do with your hard-earned money including spending it on yourselves! For us minoritie groups in Africa, we are sick to death of seeing evil Black leaders being stuffed by the West. There are better blacks to choose from... but they're currently being oppressed by the likes of Hifikepunye Pohamba, Robert Mugabe, Thabo Mbeki, Jacob Zuma, etc. Taking away this money will actually send a wake-up call to all blacks in Africa, to stop with corruption, dictator style rule and self enrichment.

| Gee Pangkas, As one of your minorities I do not agree completely. Let's not forget the money spent by the West had a very specific ideological basis. They were preventing communism NOT helping Africa. What we need is to help each other. The West can learn from our less-stressed lives and being closer to nature. We can learn from their technology and (yes) with the help of their financing. Many of the projects that have spent money in Namibia have been decided in their own countries as siomething we need and then it is forced upon us. We need to make a stand and indicate (as individuals and business people) what we need to make the lives of our people better. |
