| The Electoral Commission of Namibia is using a mixture of data capturing methods to accelerate the compilation of the Voters Roll. Commenting on the data capturing process the Mr Moses Ndjarakana indicated that “it is a mammoth challenge that ECN is facing. However, ECN is facing this head-on by making use of three shifts per day each shift made up of over 60 data capturers. In addition, we are also employing scanning technology in order to comply with the electoral schedule as outlined in the Electoral Act” Very encouraging indeed and ECN is on course to compile the Voters Roll in good time. |
